I’ll be there as well to learn more about MPLS.just couldn’t get pass CCIE SP for some reason, and if anyone would like to talk about the lab according to NDA, we could. I’ve been there, haven’t done that yet.

Interpretation of rack number

Posted in Cisco on February 3rd, 2010 by Saba – 6 Comments

Hello

If the question asks that the loopback IP of router should in the format 150.1.*yy*.x/32, where by yy is the rack number and x is the router number.

Suppose I get rack number 6, and working on router 6, would the correct answer be 150.1.*6*.6/32 or 150.1.*66*.6/32 on the loopback interface?

Thank you. SP

If you are using Unity 7.x, do not check the lock button as it doesn’t work. There is bug on this.

You can use options numbers even if they are the first digit of extensions. Simply do not lock that input number. Interdigit delay takes care of the rest.

Uninstalling Cisco Contact Centre

Thanks Ryan, no it’s installed on its own Cisco MCS server on a Server 2003 Cisco platform. It seems I can reinstall and repair but not remove. Unless I put in the OS CD and start from scratch.

If that’s the way it is, so be it!

Thanks,

Neil

Uninstalling Cisco Contact Centre

Was this a co-resident install on a CUCM publisher?

For enterprise applications such as IPCC and CUCM typically uninstall isn’t something that is attempted as it is really supposed to be the only application on the server. To remove it you would typically insert disk 1 and start over.

I’ve installed it and now I want to uninstall it but the uninstall is greyed out when I re-run the installer and add/remove programs doesn’t give the option.

Thanks in advance,

Neil

Sandy, it should still work. You may want to just lengthen the timeout between digits a bit. I think it is set to 1500 ms by default.

help with embedded object integration and windows messages

Hi,

I am trying to provide accessibility through arrow key navigation for my users, and for most part I am able to do everything but when there is an embed object for example flash or pdf, and it captures the events, then there is no way for browser to get keyboard clicks other then clicking with mouse to some area.

To overcome this, I may use Windows Messages to send to the browser for example to close a tab. Is this kind of windows messaging support so I can send a close tab message to firefox? Are there other windows messages so I can send events?

Thanks,

Justin

Unity Connection AA Question

Posted in Cisco on February 3rd, 2010 by Saba – Be the first to comment

Hi,

I need to have an AA on UC, the problem is that I have extension numbers matching the caller input from 1 to 8 and the actual greeting is like this:

“Welcome to University Laval, if you know the extension of the party you want to reach, please dial it now. For Human resources, press #1; For the Library pres #2, For the Students residences press #3. For the operator, press 0″

So in the caller input, how can I deal with my major services that have to be named and accessible through the main AA ?

I know I can do it with IPCC, which is how we are setup right now, but we have a problem that even Cisco TAC can’t solve, so I want to move my AA on UC.

Thanks.

Sandy.
